GSD Bridge
GSD Bridge (gsd-bridge) is the free core of every GSD script. It connects our scripts to your framework, so the same script runs on VORP, RSG or your own core. Its code is open: you can read it and change it.
What it does
- Detects your framework (VORP, RSG, or the custom adapter for your own core).
- Gives every GSD script the same functions for players, jobs, money, inventory, notifications, prompts and more.
- Brings the GSD UI: notifications, progress bar and the look of every GSD window.
- You set it up once in
config.lua, every GSD script uses that setup.
Requirements
| VORP | latest vorp_core, vorp_inventory and the usual VORP resources |
| RSG | latest rsg-core (v3) and its resources |
| Custom core | see Custom core |
| Database | oxmysql (used for banking on VORP) |
| Optional | ox_lib - only if you choose 'ox_lib' for notifications / progress |
Only the latest VORP and RSG versions are supported. Keep your framework up to date.
Installation
Put the
gsd-bridgefolder into yourresourcesfolder.Add it to
server.cfgafter your framework and before every GSD script:bashensure vorp_core # or rsg-core, and the rest of your framework ensure gsd-bridge ensure gsd-minigames # every GSD script after the bridgeGive your admins the GSD admin right (works on every framework):
bashadd_ace group.admin gsd.admin allowRestart the server. The console has to show:
text[gsd-bridge] v1.0.0 ready (framework: vorp)
It says framework: custom but I run VORP / RSG
gsd-bridge started before your framework. Move ensure gsd-bridge below the framework in server.cfg, or set Config.Framework = 'vorp' / 'rsg' in its config.
Next
- Configuration - every setting of
config.lua - Custom core - connect your own framework
