FAQ

Installation

A script does not start: "gsd-bridge is not running". Put ensure gsd-bridge before every GSD script in server.cfg, and after your framework. See Getting started.

The bridge says framework: custom, but I run VORP / RSG.gsd-bridge started before your framework. Move its ensure line below the framework, or set Config.Framework in gsd-bridge/config.lua.

"needs gsd-bridge x.x.x or newer". Your GSD Bridge is older than the script needs. Download the latest GSD Bridge and replace the folder (keep your config.lua and, on a custom core, your two custom files).

How do I see if everything loaded? Every GSD script prints a line like [gsd-minigames] v1.0.0 ready in the server console when it has loaded.

Admin

An admin command says I am not allowed. GSD Bridge decides who is an admin. Add this to server.cfg (works on every framework):

bash
add_ace group.admin gsd.admin allow

On VORP the groups in Config.Vorp.AdminGroups, on RSG the permissions in Config.Rsg.AdminPermissions also count.

Escrow and downloads

Where do I download a script I got on Tebex? At portal.cfx.re → Granted Assets, with the CFX account you used at checkout.

"You lack the required entitlement to use ..." The server key in your server.cfg belongs to another CFX account than the one that got the script. Use a server key of the same account - the license is bound to that account and can not be moved to another one.

Which files can I edit? The config files (config.lua, config.js), the language files and your own images are always editable. Protected files are encrypted by the CFX asset system.

Red Dead Redemption 2 belongs to Rockstar Games. Gunsmoke Development is not connected to Rockstar Games.
