Configuration

Everything is in gsd-bridge/config.lua. Every GSD script uses these settings, so you only set them once.

General

SettingDefaultWhat it does
Config.Framework'auto''auto' finds vorp_core / rsg-core by itself. 'vorp', 'rsg' or 'custom' forces one.
Config.DebugfalseExtra log lines in the console while you look for a problem.
Config.CallbackTimeout10000Milliseconds a callback waits for an answer before it gives up.
Config.AdminAce'gsd.admin'ACE that always counts as admin, on every framework.
Config.CancelKey'BACKSPACE'Key that cancels a progress bar (when the script allows cancelling).

Look of notifications and progress bars

SettingDefaultValues
Config.Notify'gsd''gsd' - GSD UI built into the bridge
'framework' - your framework's own (VORP native, RSG ox_lib)
'ox_lib' - ox_lib (falls back to 'gsd' if ox_lib is not running)
Config.Progress'gsd'same values as Config.Notify

Every GSD script also has its own Config.Notify / Config.Progress. Its default 'bridge' means: use the setting above.

Colors

Config.UiColors sets the colors of the GSD UI: notifications, progress bar and every GSD script window.

lua
Config.UiColors = {
    accent = '#d8352b', -- the one highlight colour (buttons, active tab, title mark)
    accentHover = '#e5463c',
    bg          = 'rgba(14, 14, 16, 0.95)',  -- window background
    text        = '#f2f2f2',
    muted       = '#8e8e96',
}

Change the accent to your server's color and every GSD window follows it.

Resource names

Config.Resources holds the name of every resource the bridge talks to (vorp_core, vorp_inventory, rsg-core, rsg-banking, rsg-hud, ox_lib, oxmysql ...). If one of yours runs under another name, change it here.

If an optional resource is not running, the bridge turns off only the feature that needs it - the scripts keep working.

Needs (hunger / thirst)

SettingDefaultValues
Config.Needs'auto''auto' (rsg-hud on RSG, vorp_metabolism on VORP), 'rsg-hud', 'vorp_metabolism', 'custom' (edit server/modules/needs.lua), 'none'

Jobs

Config.JobTypes puts jobs into categories. Scripts use them for things like "every lawman on duty". RSG uses its own job.type; this table is used on VORP and custom cores.

lua
Config.JobTypes = {
    police = 'leo', sheriff = 'leo', marshal = 'leo',
    doctor = 'medic', medic = 'medic',
}

Bank

SettingDefaultWhat it does
Config.Bank.HomeBank'valentine'Bank used when a script does not name one.

Bank ids: valentine, blackwater, saintdenis, rhodes (and armadillo, strawberry on RSG).

VORP

SettingWhat it does
Config.Vorp.AdminGroupsusers.group / characters.group values that count as admin, e.g. { admin = true }
Config.Vorp.DutyStatebagsjob type → player statebag with the duty state (isPoliceDuty, isMedicDuty from vorp_police / vorp_medic)
Config.Vorp.BossGrades[job] = minimum grade that counts as boss
Config.Vorp.NotifyIconsicons of the native notifications per type
Config.Vorp.BankNamesbank id → bank_users.name of vorp_banking

RSG

SettingWhat it does
Config.Rsg.AdminPermissionsRSG permissions that count as admin, default { 'admin', 'god' }

Custom core

SettingWhat it does
Config.Custom.Jobsjobs given with ACE, e.g. add_ace group.police gsd.job.police allow

See Custom core.

Texts and keys

  • Config.Text - words of the bridge UI (Confirm, Yes, No, Backspace: cancel).
  • Config.Keys - RedM control hashes of the prompt keys (A-Z, ENTER, BACKSPACE, SPACEBAR, SHIFT, CTRL, LALT). You normally never change these.
